What is the “Festival of Trees”?
The Festival of Trees is a three-day event where individuals or businesses can purchase, decorate, display and donate an artificial tree, wreath, centerpiece or handmade quilt for our silent auction. There will be children's activities including Photo's with Santa; a Kid’s Craft Corner with face painting, coloring and ornament making; and Story Time with Santa's Elves.

Enjoy live entertainment in our Magical Music Land with carolers, live bands and dance acts. While taking in the sights and sounds of the Festival, stop by Santa's Sweet Shop for hot cocoa, candies, fudge, cookies and other specialty treats.

Why Should I Participate?
The mission of the Festival of Trees is to give the miracle of hope to children, parents, the community we serve, and the Richie Pediatric Trauma Center for children services and lifesaving, state-of-the-art equipment. The Center is the first and only Trauma Center dedicated to the children of the San Fernando Valley and surrounding communities.

How Do I Participate?
There are many ways you may contribute to the Festival including:

Event sponsorship
Donate a decorated artificial tree, wreath, centerpiece or handmade quilt
Purchase one of these beautiful hand-made decorations
Attend the festivities

How You Can Support the Festival of Trees

Dear Friends of Northridge Hospital,

Almost as magical as Santa himself, an empty shopping mall store will transform into a warm, festive holiday haven. The magic of the Festival of Trees will unfold and with it the hope and future of patients in need at the Richie Pediatric Trauma Center at Northridge Hospital Medical Center.

The Festival of Trees is a public fundraising event featuring individually designed trees, wreaths, quilts and holiday centerpieces for purchase and daily activities featuring a Sweet Shop, live holiday musical performances, children’s crafts, visits from Santa, and special presentations.

The Festival begins on Thursday, November 29, 2012 with an Opening Night Reception, Tree Lighting Ceremony and Auction, then continues Friday, November 30 and Saturday, December 1 with Festival celebrations.
