Our Heartfelt Thanks
We are so proud and thankful of the many organizations, volunteers and donors that support our Foundation and Hospital. We thank you for helping us to help others.
Harold Pump Foundation
Dana and David Pump, along with their mother Carole, founded the Harold Pump Foundation in 1999 to honor their late father, who had lost his fight with cancer that same year. The Harold Pump Foundation raises funds to combat cancer by creating awareness, establishing treatment programs and helping to find a cure.
Angie’s Spa
Funding from Angie's Spa, provides free spa services to cancer patients in the Leavey Cancer Center. For individuals affected by cancer, complementary and holistic treatments have been proven to decrease stress and alleviate some of the side effects of traditional medical treatments.
Avon Foundation for Women
The Navigator Program enhances the quality of cancer care and improves women’s health in the region. The Breast Cancer Patient Navigator Program at Northridge Hospital, with funding from the Avon Foundation for Women, promotes breast health for women in the Valley, and supports those with breast cancer from diagnosis to recovery. With Avon’s support, a team of clinical and lay caregivers ensure patients diagnosed with breast cancer find their way through the healthcare maze.
Northridge Hospital Auxiliary
A special thanks to the many volunteers that helped us to further support the Foundation’s mission. The Northridge Hospital Auxiliary supported the Foundation in the cancer center expansion and with many other clinical needs.
Golden Hour Guild
The Golden Hour Guild is a volunteer fundraising guild dedicated to supporting the Northridge Hospital Trauma Center and the programs that assist its seriously injured victims. Their support helps Northridge Hospital maintain an active trauma center - one of only 13 in Los Angeles County. The guild takes its name from the critical first hour of care after a serious injury that often affects the patient's outcome. Through the continued leadership of Joan Geisbush and Susan Miller, the Guild recently celebrated its 25th year anniversary.
The Northridge Hospital Foundation's annual reports provide more detailed information and lists all of the individual donors whose helping hand helps to provide care to thousands of individuals each year.
