What We Do
The Medical Safe Haven (MSH) is the only program of its kind in Los Angeles that provides integrated medical and mental health treatment to human trafficking victims. Physicians have been extensively trained in victim-centered, trauma-informed care. The Program is located at Dignity Health Medical Group - Northridge Family Medicine.
We Provide
A Patient Advocate at the MSH assists human trafficking victims and their families with the following:
- Medical appointments, transportation, Medi-Cal enrollment, and financial assistance.
- Community referrals for housing, legal services, victim advocacy, court accompaniment, job training, childcare, food pantries, etc.
- Referrals to our partner agency, Journey Out, for trauma informed care and case management.

- Appointments are available in-person or via telehealth.
