Cancer Center Navigator Program

Navigator Programs are nationally recognized for increasing a cancer patient’s chances for survival and quality of life. The complimentary Navigator Program at the Leavey Cancer Center connects all newly diagnosed cancer patients with an RN Navigator and a Patient Advocate or Outreach Coordinator to help guide and support them through diagnosis, treatment and into survivorship.

CardioVascular Center

As one of the best heart hospitals we provide a full range of comprehensive cardiac care and high-tech diagnostic and surgical capabilities. These include digital Cath Labs, an Electrophysiology Lab, a Chest Pain Center and groundbreaking surgical techniques.

Center for Assault Treatment Services (C∙A∙T∙S)

The Center for Assault Treatment Services (C⋅A⋅T⋅S) of Dignity Health - Northridge Hospital Medical Center is a member of the 24-hour/7-day per-week Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) program in the San Fernando and Santa Clarita Valleys that provides support for sexually and domestically abused women and children.

Center for Healthier Communities (CHC)

In 1997, Northridge Hospital Medical Center established the Center for Healthier Communities (CHC) as a department of the hospital. The center is dedicated to building community collaborative projects, leveraging local resources and developing effective strategies that assist children, adults and families with a goal of improving population health. Through high quality prevention education, innovative solutions, and treatment services, CHC strives to promote healthy behaviors and improve unmet health needs for residents of the San Fernando and Santa Clarita Valleys. 

Harold & Carole Pump Foundation

Northridge Hospital Foundation receives a two million dollar donation in honor of a beloved father who lost his battle with cancer in 2000 and a loving mother who passed away in 2012. The Harold and Carole Pump Foundation, led by brothers Dana and David Pump, continues to support Cancer Services at Dignity Health – Northridge Hospital.

Jade Lee Marasigan Charitable Fund

The Jade Lee Marasigan Charitable Fund was developed as a legacy project in response to the passing of Jade Lee, who suffered from Major Depressive Disorder and Social Anxiety, she died by suicide.  The program is to assist families with adolescents and young adults with resources and financial assistance for critical medical resources including psychiatry, talk therapy, and medications.

Medical Safe Haven

The Medical Safe Haven (MSH) is the only program of its kind in Los Angeles that provides integrated medical and mental health treatment to human trafficking victims. Physicians have been extensively trained in victim-centered, trauma-informed care. The Program is located at Dignity Health Medical Group - Northridge Family Medicine.

Trauma Center - Pediatric & Adult

Traumatic injuries are severe and life-threatening. In a moment’s notice a specialized Trauma Team assembles to save patients’ lives within the Golden Hour. Treatment within this first 60 minutes after traumatic injury is proven to increase the chance of recovery and survival.

Welcome Baby

Welcome Baby is a free service for all women who give birth at Northridge Hospital regardless of income level or risk factors. Every mother receives a postpartum hospital visit, including a maternal/newborn screening, breastfeeding support and home visits until the baby is 9 months old.

Scholarships

Every year Northridge Hospital Foundation offers new scholarships for employees and volunteers of the hospital. One of our standard scholarships that is offered every year is the Lauren Mickool and Robert Greenwald "Love of Humanity" Scholarship that is offered to a nurse for his/her outstanding accomplishments as a nurse.
