Volunteers

Northridge Hospital Volunteers

Volunteers are very special people. They choose to help others by giving of themselves. They provide resources far more valuable than most people realize.

The Volunteers raise funds through:

  • Gift Shop - Operated by volunteers
  • Tree of Love - Holiday tree decorated with tags honoring friends and family
  • Cookie Walk - volunteers donate homemade baked goods to sell at the walk
  • Lobby Sales - Periodic sales of book, jewelry or other items are conducted in the Farr Tower Lobby
  • Personal Donations

Some of the leadership roles volunteers play a role in, include but not limited to the following:

  • Assist patients and their visitors
  • Assist in the Gift Shop
  • Emergency Room Liaison, assist with communications between doctors and ER patient’s families
  • Surgery Liaison, assist with communications between doctors and surgery patient’s families
  • And so much more!
