Our yearly raffle is under way and opportunity drawing tickets are available now. Opportunity Drawing tickets are $10.00 each, or a book of six tickets for $50.00. Prizes: 1st Prize is $1,000 cash; 2nd Prize is Ladies Fine Jewelry donated by Gold Rush; 3rd Prize is - Two Night Stay at the Luxe Hotel, City Center at LA Live. What happens in the first 60 minutes after traumatic injury is critical to one’s survival. So important is this time that paramedics and medical trauma teams call it “The Golden Hour”. The Golden Hour Guild is a volunteer fundraising group dedicated to supporting the Northridge Hospital Trauma Center. The Guild’s name reflects the critical first hour of care after a serious injury that often affects the patient’s outcome.
Our 2011 event we raised almost $60,000. At past years’ events we presented a check in the amount of $100,000.00 to the Trauma Center which purchased much-needed equipment for Northridge Hospital Medical Center. We appreciate your past support and look forward to your 2012 commitment as a sponsor. 2010 Golden Hour Guild Brunch
The 26th Annual Golden Hour Guild Brunch was once again a huge success!
Held on Sunday, March 21, 2010 at the Odyssey Restaurant, proceeds from this event benefited the Trauma Department at Northridge Hospital Medical Center (NHMC). Joan Geisbush, Guild President and Susan Miller, Guild Vice President put on another outstanding event with over 200 attendees.
Dr. Shawki Saad, Medical Director of Trauma Services, gave a very informative presentation and also recognized two former patients that were treated successfully by the amazing team of trauma doctors.
Tony Torres, long time GHG Brunch Master of Ceremonies and Northridge Hospital Foundation Board member, received the Golden Hour Guild Award for exemplary leadership in the community.
A special thank you to all Golden Hour Guild members for their continuing service and commitment to our Trauma Team!
