ABOUT THE EVENT:

The Center for Assault Treatment Services is hosting its 18th Annual Victory for Victims Walk/Run on Saturday, April 25, 2020, at Woodley Park (site 1), Van Nuys, CA.

There are fabulous finish line festivities, which include free food and drinks, cool down massage lounge, fitness, health and business expos, Kids fun zone and much more!

The Center for Assault Treatment Services (C∙A∙T∙S), is a program of Dignity Health Northridge Hospital Medical Center. It is the only 24/7/365 days a year program in the San Fernando and Santa Clarita Valleys providing forensic medical evidentiary examinations and interviews at no cost to the child and adult victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and abuse, child maltreatment and human trafficking.  All proceeds from the Victory for Victims run walk will benefit C∙A∙T∙S. 

Entry Fee Schedule

Early registration for 5K/10K price is only:

  • $35….Through December 31, 2019
  • $40….January 1, 2020 – March 13, 2020
  • $45….March 14, 2020 – Race day
  • $25….1-Mile Friendly Dog Walk (special designed finisher medal & dog hanky)
  • $20….Kids Fun Run Registration (Ages 9 and under – includes finisher medal & T-shirt)

Race Day Schedule

  • 6:30 am - Same Day Registration Opens 
  • 7:00 am - Opening Ceremonies, Expo Opens and Aerobic Warm Up 
  • 8:00 am - 10K Starts
  • 8:15 am - 5K Starts
  • 9:00 am - Awards Ceremony
  • 9:30 am - Kids Fun Run Starts (age 9 and under)
  • 10:15 am - 1-Mile Friendly Dog Walk
  • 11:30 am – Event ends – (vendors please do not breakdown early)

Course

All courses are fun, fast, and flat. Both 10K & 5K races start and finish inside Woodley Park and go through Lake Balboa Park.  Kids Fun Run & Dog Walk remain inside Woodley Park.

Kids Fun Run


The Kids Fun Run is for Kids 9 and under.  It is a 1K (.6 mile) flat course going around the Expo Area in the park.  Parents can accompany small children at no cost. All kids receive a finisher medal and a t-shirt!

Awards 5K/10K

  • Finisher medals for all participants
  • Top Male and Female Finishers         
  • Age division Awards: Custom designed medals to top three male and female athletes in 15 different divisions of 

    5K and 10K.

TEAM AWARDS 5K/10K

  • Top 3 Finishers Combined times per Group/Teams
  • Top 3 Largest Race Day Groups/Teams
  • Top 3 Fundraising Teams ($1,000 or more)
  • We will be honoring 3 amazing companies/individuals for their continued and generous support for

    community services helping victims of assault.
     

Group/Team Packet Pick Up: Thursday, April 23rd (9 am - 3 pm)

  • Group/Teams must have a minimum of 5 members.
  • Team leaders can pick up their team packets on Thursday, April 23rd, 2020

Individual Early Packet Pick Up: Friday, April 24th (Noon -5:00 pm)

  • We recommend individuals come out for early packet pick up
  • Registration will be available online and also for early packet pick up.
  • Location: Woodley Park, 6350 Woodley Ave., (site 1), Van Nuys, Park EAST side of Woodley Ave. (South of Victory)
  • Vendor Information: We highly recommend setting up the day before the event. Volunteers will be there on Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., to assist you. Please DO NOT break down before the event is over at 11:30 a.m. Thank you. for additional information, please call 818.718.5922.
