2019 was a great year raising $380,000 to benefit our Cardiology Department...

On behalf of Northridge Hospital Foundation’s Board of Directors we what to express our gratitude for everyone’s support to this year’s Steppin’ Out Gala that was held on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Westlake Village.  

Through the support of our hospital administration, staff, physicians, Board Members, medical groups, numerous sponsors, donors and volunteers we had an exciting event, with an attendance of 450 guests. This year’s event raised $380,000 benefited the purchase of two new echo cardio ultrasound machines for our Medical Center.

Los Angeles District Attorney 

District Attorney Jackie Lacey was honored with the “Celebration of Hope” Award! A Los Angeles native and graduate of the University of Southern California Law School, she has spent most of her professional life as a prosecutor, manager and executive in the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office. District Attorney Lacey’s top priority is keeping the streets of Los Angeles County safe from violent and dangerous criminals. She is committed to safeguarding our children from human sex traffickers, our seniors from financial elder abuse and our communities from environmental crimes that threaten our health and our livelihood.

 

 

 

Moufid Nemeh
Dr. Moufid Nemeh Northridge Hospital Nephrologist 

The “Grace Leland Physician Appreciation” Award was given to Moufid Nemeh, MD. Following graduation, he joined the UCLA San Fernando Valley Program as an assistant clinical professor. Dr. Nemeh began his private practice in 1995 and also began teaching family medicine to medical residents. In his academic career he published several studies in peer-reviewed journals and in distinguished nephrology textbooks. Dr. Nemeh has been on our medical staff team for over 24 years as a Nephrologist and has been instrumental in serving our community.
