2019 was a great year raising $380,000 to benefit our Cardiology Department

On behalf of Northridge Hospital Foundation’s Board of Directors and as this year’s Chair of the Steppin’ Out Steering Committee, I want to express my gratitude for everyone’s support to this year’s Steppin’ Out Gala that was held on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Westlake Village.

Through the support of our hospital administration, staff, physicians, Board Members, medical groups, numerous sponsors, donors and volunteers we had an exciting event, with an attendance of 450 guests. This year’s event raised $380,000 which will benefit the purchase of two new echo cardio ultrasound machines for our Medical Center.

We proudly honored two amazing members of our community who have had a significant impact on Dignity Health – Northridge Hospital Medical Center.

This year’s honoree of the “Grace Leland Physician Appreciation” award went to Nephrologist, Moufid Nemeh, MD. Throughout his distinguished 24-year career with Northridge Hospital, he has provided crucial support for the hospital, significantly contributing to the care of his patients and our community.

Secondly, the 2019 honoree of the “Celebration of Hope” award was given to Los Angeles District Attorney Jackie Lacey.  A Los Angeles native, she has spent most of her professional life as a prosecutor, manager, and executive in the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.

We thank them both for their commitment and substantial efforts on behalf of Northridge Hospital and the community.
